PRAGUE, DAY 2

Today Callie and I saw a lot! We walked through Old Town, saw the Jewish quarter, and cemetery. We walked over the Charles Bridge, and had dinner at this really great restaurant called "Fish" on the bank of the river! We shared the most amazing dinner, and had an extremely delicious desert!! We were sitting outside on the patio, and it was pouring rain over us while we were sheltered from all the umbrellas! On the way back we found ourselves caught in the rain again, and jumped over puddles from cobble stone to cobble stone. We walked back with our umbrellas through the rain, and over the bridge again. There was a extraordinary collaboration of sounds! There were birds singing and the roaring sound of thunder, it was actually quite engaging! Later we went to this Cafe called Slavia Cafe`. It was directly across the street from the gorgeous National Theatre! Inside this cafe there was a nice old man playing the piano. We ordered wine, and strawberries. They had a whole menu of a variety of strawberry dishes. The place had a very Parisian Art Deco feel to it, and you could tell this was the place for the artists and actors to hang out.
